When I took part in the foreign language course, I did let the teacher and fellow students know that I stutter. The teacher said that also his best friend stutters, so no problem.
Take a paper, draw your stuttering iceberg and then ask yourself: what part do you think is bigger? The overt or the covert part? Why? Draw the line of the water and keep your drawing in a safe place. You can share a picture of the iceberg below by posting a comment:
