Are you a young person who stutters between 18-30 years old? Do you want to meet other young people and travel? In that case, an unforgettable week in the Netherlands could be something for you!
The Erasmus+ funded youth exchange for young people who stutter will be held between 25.7- 2.8.2020 at Erfe Aaftink’s group accommodation, in the village of Lemele, in the eastern part of the Netherlands. It will be the 5th time that the youth exchange will be organized by the Anatta Foundation, in cooperation with the national stuttering associations of the participating countries. The theme of the year is ’Natural Storytelling’.
The main focus of the youth exchange will be on cultural learning, non-formal learning, self-growth, and expanding comfort zones. Themes will be discovered during various workshops, which includes for example: acting, cultural learning, relaxation exercises, and sharing experiences about stuttering in a safe environment. The participating countries of this year are the Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Italy, Portugal, and Spain.
Note: the youth exchange week is not a speech therapy course, it is a week focused on the acceptance of stuttering, together with cultural and non-formal learning aspects.
Every national association of the participating countries is looking for 3-4 participants between ages 18-30. The participation fee is 125 euros. Erasmus+ will reimburse travel costs up to a certain amount. You can get more details from your national group leader (see contacts below).
