My Experience with 50 Million Voices Job Interview Training

Updated: Aug 30

The registration for the new 50 Million Voices job interview training has just opened. I took part in March and I’d like to share what it was like - to help others decide whether to take part.

When signing up, you can choose options such as being interviewed by someone who also stutters, having a one-on-one versus a panel interview, or selecting your preferred language. After completing the form, I received clear emails explaining the process and the contact details of my interviewer. I sent my CV and availability, and we quickly arranged a time.

Beforehand, there is a mandatory online information session with about 50 participants per slot. There is no pressure to speak, though you can ask questions if you want.

The practice interview took place in an online video call, for which I received the link by email in advance. At the start, my interviewer outlined the plan: a short introduction, the interview itself, and then feedback. The friendly atmosphere quickly put me at ease. Afterwards, I received constructive tips along with encouraging feedback, exactly what I needed to rebuild my confidence after some challenging past interviews.

What impressed me most:

  • The scale – over 90 participants worldwide.

  • The quality – senior managers as interviewers, offering a rare chance to practise in a realistic setting.

If you are preparing for future job interviews, I highly recommend it. It is a safe, supportive environment that can truly boost your confidence.
